I offer Functional Kinesiology Balances from my clinic at Brook House in St Neots.
Kinesiology is the study of movement and how the body’s systems work together to create motion and maintain balance. Kinesiologists use muscle testing to understand how the body is functioning and what imbalances might be relevant and currently affecting your health and wellbeing.
Functional Kinesiology is a modern, holistic approach to overall health that combines traditional kinesiology techniques with nutritional science and emotional wellbeing practices to address the root causes of imbalance in the body, not just focus on the symptoms.
Functional Kinesiology works across 4 main systems in the body: Biochemical, Electrical, Structual, and Emotional. This holistic approach to wellness helps to rebalance not only muscles but also aid hormones, digestion, blood sugar, and the immune system.
Choosing to see a Functional Kinesiologist is a great option if you’re looking for a more personalised and root-cause approach to your health. In a Functional Kinesiology balance we will look at how different systems in the body are all connected and work to restore balance across all of them.
Sessions include both physical balances as well as suggestions for lifestyle changes, nutrition, or other gentle ideas for the client to consider implementing in their life. Functional Kinesiology takes a Personal Responsibility to health. I am not a GP and I will not prescribe any medications or supplements. If you come to me with a problem that I believe you need the support of a GP for, I will gently suggest you consider seeing your GP. I can simply let you know what your body is telling us and suggest things you might want to look into to support yourself. There is never any pressure or prescription to do anything until you are ready.
However, people often choose Functional Kinesiology after they have tried other approaches and still just don’t feel quite right. Or, perhaps, they are searching for a more holistic, non-invasive way to support their overall health. Functional Kinesiology is especially valuable as it is tailored completely to you as an individual, to help your body work more efficiently rather than just managing symptoms.
The power of Functional Kinesiology comes from the structured, protocol-based system that gives practitioners clear, practical tools to support clients effectively. My training courses are accredited by both the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the Kinesiology Federation (KF). It is also accredited by the Complementary and Natural Heathcare Council (CNHN).
