Sound Therapy

I offer Traditional Sessions as well as Child-Friendly Sessions. I also do work in Care Homes and am available for private events.

Sound therapy is incredibly beneficial for everyone. That is why I am passionate about offering sessions that are accessible for everyone. Using carefully curated frequencies and vibrations, sound therapy helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote emotional balance.

Although one-off attendance at sound therapy can be a fabulous, relaxing experience that can calm the nervous system and create a sense of clarity, regular attendance is where the experience becomes genuinely transformative. Consistent exposure to the healing frequencies I create during my sessions helps the body learn how to return to a balanced state more easily over time. It is an essential part of maintaining your wellbeing.

When paired with regular kinesiology the benefits become exponentional.

For sound therapy sessions, I provide yoga mats, pillows, eye mask pillows, and a blanket. I can also provide chairs if you are unable to lay on the floor. You are welcome to bring anything else you would like to bring to make yourself comfortable. I suggest bringing a water bottle as people often find they are ready for a drink at the end of a session.

You will lay down on your mat and make yourself comfortable. The session starts with a gentle invitation to relax and I will begin the session. Every session is unique and adapted to the vibrations and energy in the room at the time. Some sesions are completely free-flowing, some are chakra focused. In traditional, adult sessions, the sound therapy part of the sessions lasts approximately 30-40 minutes.

Child Friendly Sessions start with a short 5-10 minute active meditation to help build mindfulness habits. The meditation can be done sitting or laying on your mat or you can stand and move your body as appropriate with the meditation. After the meditation I will invite everyone to sit/lay down on their mats and we will move into the sound therapy. There is no expectation to lay still on your mat for the whole session, but I do request that you keep noise to a minimum so as not to interrupt the session. The sound therapy part of the sessions lasts approximately 20 minutes for child friendly sessions.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no minimum age required, you know your child(ren) best. However, I do ask that all children attending are able to follow 3 simple rules.

  1. Stay in the room during the session. (If they need to leave for any reason I request that you go with them.)
  2. Do not touch any of my equipment unless I hand it to them.
  3. Do not touch any of the adults except the one they came with.

As in the traditional sessions, I provide yoga mats, pillows, eye mask pillows, and a blanket. I also provide a box a quiet fidget toys. You are welcome to bring anything else you would like to bring to make yourself comfortable but I do request that if you are bringing your own fidgets they are quiet so as not to interfere with the session for other attendees. You are welcome to get up and change fidgets from my box during the session as well. I suggest bringing a water bottle as people often find they are ready for a drink at the end of a session.

At the end of your session, I will gently bring you back into awareness and you will have some time to come back to yourself and gather your belongings.
