What are the benefits of sound therapy?
Sound therapy is much more than just an auditory experience. The most well-known benefit of sound therapy is stress reduction. It has also been shown to improve sleep quality. The meditative state your mind enters during a sound bath can lead to increased mental clarity and focus. The vibrations in a sound bath can help with physical relaxation which can help with muscle tension, headaches, and chronic pain. Sound therapy has also been used for centuries in Eastern medicine to help with balacing the chakras, clearing the meridians, and facilitating inner healing and introspection.
Why do you offer blocks of sessions instead of just one-off sessions?
Coming to one sound therapy session can provide you with wonderful benefits, this is why I also offer the opportunity to book a single session. However, the biggest benefits come from attending regular sessions. Our bodies are constantly absorbing energy and vibrations from the world around us, both good and bad. Regularly attending a sound therapy session to help realign your body to good/natural vibrations can help with both your phsyical, mental, and emotional health.
Do I need to book for my child as well as myself to attend a child-friendly session?
Yes, you will need to book a place for both the adult and the child attending if you would like to bring a child. The online booking form provides the option to add 1 child or 2 children to your adult booking. If you would like to attend with more than 2 children please Contact Me and we will discuss options. I need to make sure I have enough space in the room to accommodate everyone attending.
Do you have any qualifications?
I have a Level 3 Diploma in Sound Therapy. I minored in music at University and am a qualified teacher in the US. I also hold a Level 3 Early Years Qualification in the UK. I am in the process of obtaining some further qualifications to expand my offerings in the future and am constantly looking for CPD opportunities because I love what I do!
Where do your group sessions take place?
My group sessions happen in the Ballroom at the beautiful and serene Brook House in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
